Overview

The Treasury Manager is responsible for the planning and execution of day-to-day and period-end Treasury activities including managing the company’s cash flow forecast, identifying cost-saving and profit maximizing opportunities and ensuring compliance with company and audit standards to maximize the protection of the company’s cash assets. Manages all banking needs, including reconciliations, foreign currency positions, short-term borrowings and intercompany notes. This position will assist with capital structure, cash, debt, liquidity, financial risk management, and corporate banking relationships.

Essential Functions

Develops and supports treasury policies, procedures and controls

Designs and implements corporate finance strategies focused on capital structure and researches opportunities to lower weighted average cost of capital

Leads the treasury month-end close process including the review and accurate recording of weekly cash activity to the general ledger

Supervises maintenance and updates signatories on every global bank account

Oversees the monthly reconciliation of all company bank accounts

Daily cash positioning and reporting

Manages global cash management activities, including coordinating and troubleshooting day-to-day cash movements between accounts

Identifies opportunities and implements treasury-related business process improvements including multi-lateral netting and cash pool structures via in-house banking

Prepares, reviews and maintains compliance within the department; ensuring proper controls exist over cash receipts, disbursements and general treasury activities

Identifies opportunities for and supports global cash movements including documentation of intercompany loans

Maintains strong bank relationships while managing global banking structure

Monitors and oversees existing bank account services and signatories including bank account administration for opening, migrating and closing accounts

Serves as primary administrator on online banking platforms, FX, and other treasury platforms

Monitors FX exposures and develops recommendations to create natural currency hedges

Assists with development, maintenance and operations of other hedging activities including exposure gathering

Effectively works with and supports internal business partners including AR, AP, legal, tax and IT

Maintains strict confidentiality

Performs other duties and/or tasks as assigned

Required Qualifications and Education

Bachelor’s degree required

5-7 years of relevant experience in treasury, finance, accounting, or international banking is required

Advanced spreadsheet and modeling skills with the ability to analyze, interpret, and organize large quantities of data

Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills

Strong experience with bank reconciliations

Proven ability to turn through leadership and strategy into execution plans and results

Excellent written and verbal communication

Must be able to work with diverse, cross-functional teams across multiple geographies

CTP Preferred

Knowledge of banking systems and experience with wire and ACH templates are a plus
