The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, highly analytical, and intensely detailed with a strong customer focus and perspective to drive strategy in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.This role will partner closely with the business and technology teams to understand the data-needs of the team and ensure that the business teams are able to answer hard questions with real data. This individual will participate in business reviews and new initiatives. They should be able to identify and help close gaps in the information available, as well as predict up-and-coming data-needs when participating in discussions about new products or features.Key Job Responsibilities

Design, develop and deploy innovative and scalable analytics solutions for complex and ambiguous problemsLeverage data modeling, reporting, and predictive analytics techniques to surface meaningful insights and opportunitiesCollaborate with internal partners throughout the organization to understand analytical needs and help achieve strategic goalsBuild automated dashboards and self-service analytics tools to empower decision-makers with actionable insightsResearch, recommend, and implement cost reduction and optimization opportunitiesSupport the continued development of data infrastructureExcellent problem-solving, task prioritization, and communication skillsAbility to work well in a team environmentAbility to manage through conflict with a positive, flexible and professional attitudeMinimum Qualifications

3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experienceExperience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar toolsExperience with one or more industry analytics visualization tools (e.g. Excel, Tableau, QuickSight, MicroStrategy, PowerBI) and statistical methods (e.g. t-test, Chi-squared)Experience with scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, or R)Master's degree in statistics, business analytics, data analytics, data science, computer science or related field5+ years in relevant experience as business intelligence engineer, data scientist, data engineer, software engineer, or equivalent.Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $74,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $165,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
