Primary scheduled hours: 80 hours per pay period, 10 hour night shifts.Job Summary:Performs a variety of imaging procedures, including CT/X-Ray procedures as applicable, and is responsible for patient safety protocols. Functions as the first line interface with customers in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs.Education Background and ExperienceGraduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.Required Licensure / Certifications:State licensure that permits them to perform diagnostic CT exams and documented training on the provision of diagnostic CT exams.Registration and certification in radiography by ARRT and documented training on the provision of diagnostic CT exams.Certification in nuclear medicine technology by ARRT or NMTCB and documented training on the provision of diagnostic CT exams.Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.Required Experience:One (1) year of radiologic/imaging experience.Must be certified in CT registry within one year of hire.Knowledge and understanding of general anatomy, physiology and medical terminology.Possesses a high level of knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy.Proficiency with most major CT/X-Ray equipment manufacturer's hardware and software (GE, Siemens, Toshiba).Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor of Science degree is preferred, but not required.Prefer specific experience and training in CT.
