Autodesk's Ecommerce Engineering team is looking for a talented Full Stack Engineer who is passionate about building and delivering innovative solutions into our common platform. As part of the Ecommerce Engineering team, you will be implementing exciting new features that engage and influence Autodesk customers worldwide. Our team faces a variety of unique and interesting challenges, from creating new tools and components, implementing critical services, creating new and engaging end-user experiences, to digging into low-level performance details and streamlining processes. As an ideal candidate, you have experience working on teams developing modern cloud-based services in a fast-paced, agile environment. You know how to build and guide highly effective and high-performing teams while inspiring them to remain at the cutting edge.ResponsibilitiesDesign, code, test, debug, and document new and existing components to ensure that software meets business, quality, and operational needs.Build high-quality code following unit testing and test-driven development.Drive and participate in code and document reviews, mentoring the team in best practices.Collaborate with peer organizations, DevOps, and Support organizations on technical issues and provide guidance.Interpret and translate business needs to technical requirements and accurate estimates.Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to ensure the highest quality and performance is achieved.Work with the team to troubleshoot code-level problems quickly and efficiently.Apply deep technical expertise to resolve challenging programming and design problems.Minimum QualificationsB.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience.1+ years of professional software Web UI (mono-repo & micro-frontend technologies) development experience.Experience building customizable, reusable, and dynamic frontend components using ReactJS, React Hooks, JavaScript, ES6.Must have strong skills in React-router, Redux, ES6, Jest, Babel, npm, webpack, storybook.Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication skills for internal and external teams.Write unit tests, integration tests to maintain the quality of the deliverable.Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.Experience with Agile software development practices.Experience working with AWS technologies.Experience with monitoring and logging tools.Preferred QualificationsExperience with Amazon Web Services.Experience with Testing tools (Jest, Cypress, Applitools).Passionate about open source technologies.Strong verbal and written communication skills.The Ideal CandidateEnjoys designing & implementing highly scalable and highly available customer-facing systems.Writes clean, testable, effective code and helps others do it too - our language of choice is React JS and Node JS.Has solid knowledge of popular JS frameworks and libraries (NodeJS, Express, SAM, React, Angular, etc.).Holds themselves and others to high technical standards (design, architecture, and implementation).Is passionate about learning new technologies and solving business problems using these technologies.Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk! For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $85,000 and $137,500. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location and may exceed this range.
