At Regions, the Regions Business Capital Underwriting Analyst supports the relationship management and origination efforts of Regions Business Capital.Primary ResponsibilitiesModels financial projections and sensitizationsSpreads and analyzes financial statementsEvaluates risk ratings and calculates RAROC'sPerforms research on specific companies and industriesAnalyzes collateral dataWrites analysis memos and assists in the preparation of credit approvals and preparing other documentsPerforms other duties necessary to support the goals and objectives of the department and overall business unitThis position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.This position is incentive eligible.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related fieldAt least 2 accounting classesMinimum GPA of 3.0Skills and CompetenciesAbility to produce an accurate work productAbility to work long hours and have a flexible schedule to meet tight deadlinesAccounting and finance skills/abilities, with prior financial analysis experienceDetail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to analyze complex data and factsProficient modeling and Excel skillsProficient verbal and written communication skillsSelf motivated, quick learner, with ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasksAdditional Requirements:Graduation date of December 2024 or May 2025Regions will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position.
