Agility Partners is seeking a qualified Firewall Migration Engineer to fill an open position with a Fortune 500 company based in the greater Connecticut area. In this exciting opportunity, you will play a crucial role in a long-term project involving a major enterprise firewall migration from Checkpoint to new Palo Alto infrastructure. As a key member of the security engineering team, you will follow established corporate processes to analyze, define, and implement efforts required for the successful infrastructure migration.Responsibilities:Plan and execute migration changes from Checkpoint and Cisco ASA to Palo Alto FirewallsDiagnose and resolve application issues post firewall migrationAnalyze firewall requirements for application migrations to new infrastructureManage changes through the ServiceNow ITSM applicationOversee firewall implementations through AlgoSec and Panorama applicationsRemove/optimize old firewall policy configurations no longer required for optimizationParticipate in troubleshooting application issues related to firewallsEnsure overall security perimeter infrastructure can support application migrationsBenefits and Perks
