Director of Nursing
plans, organizes, develops, and directs the overall operation of the Nursing department to ensure the highest degree of quality care in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards.Responsibilities:Lead a team of nursing staff and foster a team atmosphere within the nursing division.Teach and lead by example on all shifts.Liaise with residents, families, and support departments to adequately plan for resident needs.Implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the department.Ensure knowledge of practices and procedures, as well as the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing functions in the long-term care facility.Develop and implement plans of correction based on state reporting requirements.Minimum Requirements:Currently licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in Ohio.Two (2) years of supervisory experience in a long-term care setting, preferably as a Director of Nursing or Assistant Director of Nursing.Strong leadership skills.Integrity and professionalism.We represent an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any other federal, state or local protected class.
