Trauma ACS Critical Care Surgeon
Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center (SJUMC), located in northern NJ, is accepting applications for a Trauma Surgeon to join an established team of Trauma/Critical Care Surgeons. SJUMC is a NJ State designated, ACS Verified Level II trauma center with over 2200 admissions a year.The ideal candidate will be a recent graduate of a trauma-surgical critical care fellowship, board eligible or board certified, licensed or able to become licensed to practice medicine in the State of NJ and must be committed to providing high quality clinical care. He or she will be joining a practice of eight surgeons who rotate through trauma, acute care surgery, surgical critical care and elective general surgery and who are all actively involved in resident education.SJUMC is a 450-bed medical center located in Paterson, NJ that has been providing care for the community for over 150 years, including open heart surgery, comprehensive stroke care and the full range of pediatric medical and surgical care. We have all-inclusive orthopedic and neurosurgical services onsite as well as an aggressive interventional radiology team to support the needs of our trauma patients. Our facility includes a state of the art Emergency Department that is among the ten busiest in the country.SJUMC is dedicated to medical education, supporting multiple medical, dental and pharmacy residency programs as well as an ACGME approved general surgical residency and a surgical critical care fellowship program.Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center provides a generous compensation package which includes a competitive salary, CME allowances, malpractice coverage, 4 weeks paid vacation and a complete benefits plan.How to apply
