Executive Assistant, Chicago, IL (On-site) Temporary-to-Hire
Executive Assistant to the President and CEOJoin this mission-driven Nonprofit as the Executive Assistant to the President and CEO. The ideal individual is highly organized, and proactive and will manage the day-to-day schedule, coordinate key meetings, and act as a trusted liaison with stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication across the organization. Beyond administrative duties, you will support strategic initiatives, contribute to decision-making processes, and embody the organization’s values of empathy, service, and community engagement. This role demands a detail-oriented professional with exceptional interpersonal skills and a deep commitment to their cause.This is a temporary-to-hire opportunity!ResponsibilitiesProvides high-level administrative support to the President and CEO, including managing schedules, appointments, and travel arrangements.Prepare and edit correspondence, communications, presentations, and other documents.Serve as a liaison between the President and CEO and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and efficient workflow.Manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.Coordinate meetings, events, and executive off-site sessions, handling logistics and follow-up tasks.Assist in the preparation of reports, proposals, and board materials.Anticipates the needs of the President and CEO and proactively addresses them to ensure smooth daily operations.Handle special projects and initiatives as directed by the President and CEO, contributing to strategic planning and execution.Ideal ExperienceBachelor’s degree and work experience as an Executive Assistant are preferred.Ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and schedules efficiently.Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with stakeholders.Proficiency in managing time-sensitive tasks and meeting deadlines.High level of integrity in handling sensitive information.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly strong in Excel.Ability to anticipate issues and provide creative solutions in a fast-paced environment.A keen eye for detail in documentation, scheduling, and communication.Ability to build strong relationships and work collaboratively across all levels of the organization.Flexibility to handle changing priorities and take on new challenges.
