As the Director of Therapy Services, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing our therapy programs, ensuring the highest standard of care and service delivery. This role requires a minimum of 8 years of experience as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD or PhD) and involves managing a team of dedicated clinicians, developing and implementing clinical protocols, and fostering a culture of excellence.ABM Culture

MANAGERIAL & ADMINISTRATIVE

– Approximately 50% of the role.Clinical Leadership: Provides clinical leadership and guidance to a team of licensed therapists, ensuring the delivery of evidence-based therapeutic interventions.Key contact and escalation for clinicians: Educates therapy clinicians on whom to go to for what (including clinical and non-clinical issues) and escalation guidelines.Staffing & Utilization: Partners with CMO and Clinic Directors to address compliance for therapy clinician starts, total visits, and total utilization.Clinician Hiring, Onboarding, Training, and Productivity: Leads therapy clinician recruiting, onboarding, and training on state-specific policies and regulations.Program Development: Develop, implement, and continuously improve therapy programs and services.Team Management: Recruits, trains, and supervises therapists and support staff.Client Care: Oversees the clinical care of clients, including assessments, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions.Supervision: Provides clinical supervision and support to therapists, ensuring their growth and professional development.Clinical Expertise: Offers clinical expertise to therapists to enhance patient care.Clinical Standards and Policies: Implements and adheres to national clinical policies through local procedures/workflows.Quality Assurance: Partners with the Compliance Department and CMO to establish and maintain quality assurance standards.Quality Control, Risk Management, and Compliance: Conducts chart record reviews and investigates adverse clinical events.Compliance: Ensures compliance with all applicable legal, ethical, and industry-specific standards.Community Engagement: Collaborates with local stakeholders to promote community engagement.Performance Management: Provides general management and oversight of therapists.Reporting: Provides regular reports to senior management on the performance of behavioral therapy services.Training and Development: Implements ongoing training and professional development programs for therapists.Peer Consultation: Enables weekly or as needed peer consultation forum of patient cases.Coverage: Coordinates coverage when a clinician is out for unexpected, extended absences.CLINICAL DELIVERY

– Approximately 50% of the role.Caseload: Maintains a caseload in accordance with available non-admin time.Qualifications

Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD or PhD).Master's or doctorate degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field.Current and unrestricted state licensure as an LCMHC, LCSW, PhD, or PsyD in North Carolina.Strong clinical background and experience in providing evidence-based therapy services.Proven leadership and management skills, including team development and supervision.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Knowledge of state regulations and ethical standards related to mental health services.Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care to clients.Ability to adapt to changes and work independently as well as part of a team.Ability to lead, supervise and collaborate cross-functionally.Ability to provide formative feedback.Knowledge of licensure requirements.Significant problem-solving capability.Commitment to Apogee’s Mission & Vision of Making Each Day Better.
