IT Support Specialist

.This role will be a part of a growing team that helps drive the success of the IT department by providing excellent customer service and technology experience. The IT Support Specialist will ensure PMS’s systems are efficient, secure and up to date, providing IT support and expertise to keep everything running smoothly across our global operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sense of curiosity and willingness to learn and grow with a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and customer focus.Responsibilities:Provide first and second-level technical support for Particle Measuring Systems, software applications, and related hardware.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently and effectively, escalating complex problems as needed.Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software systems.Provide remote and on-site technical support to customers as required.Document and track customer issues and resolutions.Maintain inventory of hardware and software assets.Participate in the development and improvement of IT support processes and procedures.Manage AD users and groups, permissions, and email systems.Support Microsoft 365/Azure environment with emphasis on Outlook, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive and SharePoint applications.Qualifications:Associate's degree in information technology or equivalent experience.Strong understanding of computer hardware and software systems.Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft 365 and Azure environment.General Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange (On-Premise and Online).General Knowledge of Hypervisor technology (Hyper-V and VMware).Understanding of networking including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP.Understanding of Microsoft Server technologies including Active Directory, File/Folder Permissions, Print Management, Remote Desktop, etc.Experience with cloud-based technology and applications.Experience with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong and creative problem-solving and analytical skills.Ability to work in a fast-growing team.Required Skills:Exceptional communication and leadership skills.Strong analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.Ability to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms.Ability to evaluate and implement emerging technologies.Must demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset.Additional Preferred Qualifications:Experience with network infrastructure and security.Familiarity with database management systems.Experience with ITIL service management framework.The Nuts and BoltsLocation
