Senior Software Engineer

with expertise in

Azure Cloud platform

and

.Net Core/.Net 5 . This position supports a global leader in contractor and supplier information management that partners with well-known companies across the US, Canada, Europe, Australia, Latin America, and the Middle East ensuring safe connections with reliable contractors and suppliers and incorporating due diligence in the contractor management process. As part of the Product Development team, the Software Engineer will be responsible for developing both front-end web pages and back-end databases.Position type:

$154,000 base salary with target incentives: $14,000 - $20,000Location:

Remote with a few requirements related to in-person work:Employees must reside within a commutable distance to the Dallas, TX office. Candidates not currently located within DFW area will be required to relocate. Office Address: on McKinney Ave # 1500, Dallas, TX 75204.Day 1-3:

Expected to attend in person for first 3 days to participate in key onboarding activities, receive equipment and meet the team.Ongoing:

This role on the Products team will have the option to work remotely with at least 1-2 in-person engagements required monthly (customer meetings, team collaboration day, ISN events, team events, performance reviews, etc.).KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Scale applications, make architectural trade-offs applying synchronous and asynchronous design patterns, write code, and deliver with speediness and quality.Produce high quality software that is unit tested, code reviewed, and checked in regularly.Develop and design database objects, such as tables, stored procedures, functions, etc.Strong understanding of Cloud computing concepts and technologies, such as IaaS/SaaS/PaaS, load balancing.Desire to assume increasing levels of leadership responsibility.QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum of 6+ years of experience in developing cloud-native applications and API development using .NET and .NET Core.Minimum of 3+ years of experience in .NET Core/.NET 5.Minimum of 2+ years of experience in Azure Cloud platform.Experience within enterprise-level clients, preferably in the SaaS industry.Capability to lead projects, as well as be able to work in a team environment.Experience in implementing RESTful web services and SOAP services in cloud.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field from an accredited university.Key Points:Looking for someone with supervisory background managing resources in the US or someone with an interest in growing in that role.Our client’s plan is to bring someone on an individual contributor path and promote them to Supervisor role in 9-12 months.

As a supervisor, the individual will work 60% in lead capacity supporting project initiatives and their scrum team, while 40% of the role will still involve individual contributor work.
