About the Role
As a Software Engineer at LexisNexis Reed Technologies, you will contribute to new product development. As a Software Engineer III, you will design, develop, and maintain complex software solutions. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance and scalability. Your expertise will drive innovation and contribute to the success of our cutting-edge projects.Conditions of Employment:You must be a U.S. citizen to qualify for this position.You must successfully pass a background investigation and achieve Public Trust security clearance.Responsibilities
Interfacing with other personnel or team members to finalize requirements.Writing and reviewing portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of moderate complexity.Working closely with other Development team members to understand Product Requirements and translate them into Software designs.Implementing development processes, coding best practices and code reviews.Operating in various development environments (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) while collaborating with key stakeholders.Completing bug fixes and resolving technical issues.Ability to solve problems including the design of the program flow of individual pieces of code, effective coding, and unit testing.Requirements
Demonstrate understanding of .NET (.
NET 8 experience preferred)Experience and ability to work with data modeling and data storage subsystems.Experience and ability to work
with data manipulation languages such as SQL.Familiarity with industry best practices — unit-testing, code coverage.Ability to work well with internal and external technology resources.Ability to write and review portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of moderate complexity.Work in a way that works for you
