The DoS is a SME level position responsible for projection and PEO-level coordination of strategic briefings, messages, reports, analysis and special projects; Information Management to include but not limited to developing, facilitating, updating and/or coordinating 3-letter and 4-letter level briefings, tasks, reports, media queries, public releases, and special projects supporting the mission Delta. Serves as communications liaison between the Delta's senior leaders and its subordinate offices, as well as, across the other Deltas and Command. Oversees daily operations of the Delta front office through effective and efficient time, task, financial, organizational and project management.Additional Responsibilities:

Provide expert support to the Senior Material Leader (SML), Materiel Leader (ML), Program Manager (PM) and Senior USSF and USAF leadership regarding Front Office Support for Military, Civilian and Contractor Personnel.Prepare and complete acquisition related documents and submit, recommendations for streamlining and improving all phases of the acquisition process.Provide detailed analysis, quantifiable supporting documentation, and thorough justification for all research, reviews, and assessments performed and include corrective action plans and recommendations to the Government.Provide information, analysis, and recommendations for the effective alignment of portfolio acquisitions, manpower, and funding for management and integration of the portfolio.Evaluate documentation for adherence to policy and guidance; consistency in implementation of the program's strategy, technical approach requirements, policy and guidance, milestones, forecasts, schedule and risk assessment; and realism in achieving a product suitable for the user within cost, schedule and performance constraints.Support strategic planning efforts by providing engineering, technical, architecture, and acquisition support to Government decisions and how the decision impacts the vision, mission, goals, commitments, and initiatives (referred to as the Strategic Plan) of the Directorate.Develop, publish, garner Government approval, and maintain the Directorate Strategic Plan; Key strategic planning products include the Directorate 20-yr Strategic Plan, the Directorate Management Plan, Directorate Strategic Communications Plan, Directorate Human Capital Strategic Plan, and organizational development/transition/implementation plans.Provide assessments of future system architecture and manpower alternatives and analysis and recommend Directorate process and methodology improvements to enhance the Strategic Plan.Prepare research, analysis and reports on pertinent topics to support ongoing requirements and act as SME on strategic long-range planning.Research, draft, and edit articles, speeches, and testimony, position papers, and formal reports on the Directorate, organization, missions, operations, and initiatives as necessary or as directed by the Government.Respond to various tasks to include but not limited to data calls, document reviews, acquisition reporting, travel requests, media requests, and other mandatory reporting.Support scheduling, coordination and content for organizational visits within the DoD.Manage program budgets and advocate for funding through POM submissions, Program Element Plan (PEP) Budget Requests (PBRs) and UFRs via HAF, Joint Staff/J7, USSTRATCOM, HQ USSF and SSC.Job Requirements

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, scanners, filing cabinets and fax machines.Physical Demands:

This is largely a sedentary role mostly sitting; however, some filing may be required. This would require the ability to move files, or boxes with file data, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary, ability to lift up to 40lbs.Mental Demands:
