HybridYour Responsibilities

Ability to perform all Account Manager responsibilities, duties, and expectationsServices a designated book of business as relating to marketing, assisting with claim issues, and day to day administrationResearches issues’ root cause, implements, and resolves policy related issuesUses discretion and independent judgment when analyzing industry trends and providing related Client guidance.Recommends and implements potential enhancements or improvements to processes, products, and/or policiesFacilitates vendor quotes, amendments, and reinstatements for requested changes as neededConducts, creates, and interprets benefit benchmarking studies, design plan comparison reports, and Client presentation materialsInterprets Clients’ current coverage plan and identifies and recommends opportunities to expand lines of coverageEngages in Client strategy meetings to manage insured expectations for upcoming termDevelops and assists with presenting marketing and renewal terms to ClientEstablishes and maintains relationships and interfaces with Clients, carriers, and other vendorsCommunicates on a professional level with insurance carriers and other vendors to address client issues in a manner that produces optimum results in a timely fashion.Prepares and releases RFP to appropriate marketsOverall responsibility for managing updates to Client employee facing communicationsPrepares and conducts open enrollment presentations and meetingsResearches and understands industry trends and Carrier product offerings and emerging trendsKnowledge of governmental compliance/regulations to educate Client and respond to client inquiriesMentors and trains junior-level staffPerforms other responsibilities and duties as neededQualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field and/or years of experience equivalentTypically 3+ years of related Client services experience is requiredDemonstrates strong working knowledge and experience within brokerage industryStrong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills requiredUnderstands industry trends and governmental regulationsAbility to delegate tasks effectivelyAbility to complete continuing education requirements as neededAbility to attend company, department, and team meetings as required, including industry training sessionsAbility to comply with all company policies and procedures, proactively protecting confidentiality of Client and company informationAbility to efficiently organize work and manage time in order to meet deadlinesAbility to travel by automobile and aircraftAbility to use office equipment such as a computer, keyboard, calculator, and photocopierAbility to work on a computer for a prolonged amount of timeAbility to work outside of normal business hours as neededLegally able to work in the United StatesEqual Opportunity Statement
