Depository Investment Banking
team is seeking full-time candidates for an experienced Investment Banking Analyst position in their Atlanta office, who have demonstrated professional, academic and extracurricular achievement and possess strong quantitative, analytical and interpersonal skills.
Analysts serve as key members of mergers and acquisitions and capital raising transaction teams, drafting information memorandum, developing management and investor presentations and participating in the deal process from start to finish. Analysts also create and analyze financial models, develop client presentations and conduct industry research.
Responsibilities:Prepare marketing documents, pitch materials, confidential information memoranda, board presentations, management presentations, etc.Create valuation analysis, including comparable companies, comparable transactions, discounted cash flows, etc.Conduct financial due diligence and industry researchCreate detailed operating financial modelsSupport senior bankers in their relationship management responsibilitiesQualifications:Undergraduate degree; Finance & Accounting preferred but other majors will be considered2-3 years professional experience in finance preferredHistory of outstanding academic and extracurricular achievementAbility to collaborate and work effectively with diverse team membersStrong quantitative, analytical and interpersonal skillsHigh level of initiative, motivation, attention to detail, positive attitude, and the ability to work in a project or deadline-driven environmentStrong written and verbal communication skillsWhy work for us?Benefits: Janney believes that its employees are the key to what makes a great company.
