Network Systems Engineer Sr.

The Network Systems Engineer III is highly motivated with experience in system hosting and managed services. This position offers excellent exposure to the latest Cisco, Network and Security technologies.
Must be legally authorized to work within country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B) now and/or in the future.
Job Responsibilities
Design, configure, deploy, maintain, and document Cisco Networks and solutions
Plan, design and implement security systems and their associated software, including firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection systems and anti-virus/malware software.
Proactively identify and report capacity constraints, weaknesses and potential problems before they lead to outages
Capacity planning and resource management
Provide 2nd and 3rd level support
Identify and recommend infrastructure upgrades and improvements based upon industry best practices and the Cisco Lifecycle Services Approach.
Responsible for deployment, configuration, administration, and maintenance of the enterprise-wide security solutions for firewalls, switches, internal and external communications between multiple datacenters.
Develop, maintain and update a library of technical documentation.
Access Infinite Campus product customer data and customer infrastructure adhering to the practices and procedures outlined in the master security guidelines.

Desired Background
Experience with Cisco Secure Firewall
Experience with Cisco ASA
Experience with Cisco ACI
Experience with Cisco Nexus switching experience
Experience managing wireless networks.
Experience with load balancing technologies
Multi Datacenter experience preferred
5 + years experience with BGP, EIGRP, Spanning-tree, VTP QoS, TCP/IP, and DNS/DHCP, VPN
5 + years experience with Cisco routers and switches
Routing- Layer 3, Switching Layer 2, NAT, WAN protocols
Proven success in designing and maintaining highly stable LAN/WAN environments
Experience with system management tools such as Infoblox, Stealthwatch, Nexus Dashboard, DNA Center, and other similar tools
Performance Expectation

Establish and maintain positive and productive work relationships with all staff, customers and business partners
Strong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent documentation skills
