Job DescriptionOur client is seeking a
Software Developer
to work on a cross-functional team of developers, testers, cloud engineers, and security engineers to develop and sustain a large, mission critical, user-facing application and associated services and data flows. The application is a large-scale structured data search and discovery tool running in an AWS environment with broad mission adoption.
This is an onsite role in Chantilly, VA.Responsibilities
Maintain the existing codebase and extend it as the data and user base continue to growPresent innovative solutions to harden the applications, improve resiliency, reduce costs, and accelerate speed of delivery to mission customersClearance
Active TS/SCI with FS PolyRequired Qualifications
Experience writing applications and services in Java, and at least one of Python, JavaScript, or RubyExperience developing applications and services to run in a cloud-native environmentExperience working with containers and associated technologies such as Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, and HelmExperience using relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL; document databases such as Elasticsearch or Solr; or big data technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, or SparkExperience developing on, and delivering applications for, a Linux-based environmentExperience using Git and working on cross-functional teams with Git-based workflowsExperience working on cross-functional teams in an agile environmentDesired Qualifications
