Salary range:$77,000-$87,000

Job Summary:The Director of Mental Health Services is responsible for overseeing Cornerstone’s mental health services, including therapy for survivors of sexual violence, domestic violence, and human trafficking. This role leads clinical staff, supervises the internship program, and manages services for sexually exploited youth. The Mental Health Director ensures trauma-informed care across all programs and actively contributes to program development.

Experience/Qualifications:Master’s degree in social work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field.Licensed as LICSW.Minimum 3 years of therapy experience and 1 year of clinical supervision.Experience with trauma-informed care and working with victims of violence.Familiarity with electronic health records and billing processes.Valid Minnesota driver’s license and reliable vehicle.

Essential Functions:Oversee the daily operations of mental health services.Provide individual and group supervision to therapists and interns.Lead program development for mental health services, including intake, documentation, and therapy processes.Ensure clinical staff adhere to professional standards and HIPAA compliance.Oversee electronic health record systems and billing processes.Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with NASW Code of Ethics.Manage recruitment, training, and supervision of interns.Prepare reports for funders and development staff.Provide therapeutic services to clients across the lifespan, including individual, family, and group therapy.Conduct mental health assessments and facilitate support groups as needed.Collaborate with external agencies to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.Work with other Cornerstone programs to deliver prevention, education, and intervention services.Develop relationships with community partners to enhance outreach.Lead training for clinical staff, interns, and the community on mental health topics.Provide onboarding and ongoing training for new therapists and interns.

Physical Requirements:Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities.Ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Must have the ability to walk short distances, and/or drive a vehicle.
