In this role, you will be responsible for selling a best of breed Cybersecurity Platform that spans across our Cloud Security, Identity Security, Endpoint Security, Exposure Management, and Data Lake portfolios to our largest customers. To be successful as a Strategic Sales Engineer, you should possess an in-depth knowledge of technical solutions and services and be able to relate this knowledge in a way that is understandable to both technical and non-technical audiences. You should be driven to achieve sales goals assigned to you and should have excellent sales and partner relationship management skills.What will you do?Work alongside your sales partner(s) to grow your region and develop account strategies.Understand partner requirements as they relate to security architectures across their customers’ environments.Track and document aspects of the sales cycle including elements that are the primary responsibility of the Sales Engineer.Lead Proof of Concept/Value engagements.Prepare and lead technical presentations to explain to Partners how SentinelOne products and services work.Provide Enablement and Technical Guidance.Recommend new and improved solutions to customers to help them grow their business and service offerings they provide to their customers.Actively participate within the greater technical team sharing experience, best practices, and knowledge.What skills and knowledge should you bring?Bachelor in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent experience in real-world cyber security sales and/or consulting.7+ years of experience in the computer networking or security space, ideally in a pre-sales role.Broad understanding of security solutions and technologies.Ability to explain and demonstrate complex product/security solutions both technically and with senior leadership.Superior communication skills including white-boarding, public speaking and technical writing.Operational or sales experiences with Endpoint Security, Cloud, Data Lakes/SIEM, Incident Response, Threat Hunting, Identity or Active Directory a plus.Ability to travel domestically up to 40% of the time with occasional spikes above 50%.Why us?You will be joining a cutting-edge company, where you will tackle extraordinary challenges and work with the very best in the industry.Medical, Vision, Dental, 401(k), Commuter, Health and Dependent FSA.Unlimited PTO.Industry leading gender-neutral parental leave.Paid Company Holidays.Paid Sick Time.Employee stock purchase program.Disability and life insurance.Employee assistance program.Gym membership reimbursement.Cell phone reimbursement.Numerous company-sponsored events including regular happy hours and team building events.This U.S. role has a base pay range plus commissions that will vary based on the location of the candidate.
