We are looking for a skilled and experienced Security Technician to join our team. As a Security Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting security systems and equipment.Duties
Traveling around the Maryland, Washington DC, and Virginia area to client's facilities.Install and maintain surveillance cameras and closed caption TVs.Traveling to government facilities to maintain IT systems.Install security systems, including CCTV cameras, access control systems, burglar alarms, and other security devices.Perform routine maintenance and inspections of security equipment to ensure optimal performance.Diagnose and resolve technical issues with security systems, including hardware and software problems.Conduct testing and commissioning of security systems to verify functionality and performance.Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance activities, and repairs.Provide technical support and assistance to clients and end-users regarding security system operation and maintenance.Ensure installations and maintenance adhere to relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards.Requirements
Secret Clearance is required (do not apply if you do not have one).Must use your own car for travel (gas reimbursement).Experience in installing various security systems is required.Proven experience as a Security Technician or similar role in installing and maintaining security systems.Certification in security systems installation or related field (e.g., Certified Security Technician (CST), Certified Alarm Technician (CAT)) preferred.Experience with specific brands or manufacturers of security equipment.Familiarity with electronic security system integration.Field-based role, requiring travel to client sites.$55,000 - $85,000 a year#J-18808-Ljbffr
