The Senior Project Manager role entails the management of EDI and SaaS implementations. To succeed, the Project Manager must have substantial client facing experience, demonstrated a high level of success in delivering large scale multi-million dollar projects, and have experience in working closely with clients to build an effective partnership.Main Responsibilities:Managing to a structured project management process/methodology by developing and implementing documentation for all project phasesImprove effectives of the project and efficiently meet and manage client objectives and expectationsManage to a defined project budgetOutline top down and bottom up deliverables and acceptance criteria; beginning with the ultimate output of the project and working into the details to see how to produce the most effective output for the client and or organizationIdentify processes and conflict processes to create deliverablesDevelop project milestone reviewsManage relationships with clients and staff in the sales, IT, operations organizationProvide technology and business consultationManage vendors, including the establishment of service level agreementsWork closely to align technology planning with clientProvide reporting support for client and organizational leadersProvide strong business acumen and execute project solutionsManage scheduling, cost control and changesQualifications
Required Skills, Experience, Knowledge:10 - 15 years of Project/Program Management experience preferred5 - 10 years of EDI Solutions/Applications delivery experience preferred5 – 10 years of Customer/Client Facing experience preferredExperience managing delivery using the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)Dynamic Problem Solver with customer focusAbility to motivate a team to meet tight project timelinesFluent with Microsoft Project & Project Task planning & dependencies.Supervisory experience (managing PM's & other resources)Deep experience in project status & financial reporting.Detail-orientedMust have very strong interpersonal skills including a demonstrated ability to partner with others, and be able manage complex relationshipsExperience with the Six-Sigma Process or similar methodologiesBachelors Degree in Business, Computer Science or related fieldAdditional Information
