In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Diagnostic Imaging department, driving efficiency, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality imaging services. This position requires a hands-on approach to department management, team leadership, and continuous improvement in radiology practices.Key Responsibilities:Manage daily operations of the radiology department, including scheduling, workflow optimization, and resource allocationSupervise and mentor a team of radiologic technologists, ensuring adherence to best practices and safety protocolsCollaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to maintain seamless interdepartmental communicationMonitor and maintain quality control programs for all imaging modalitiesEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and hospital policiesParticipate in budgeting and financial management of the departmentImplement and oversee staff training and development programsManage equipment maintenance schedules and coordinate with vendors for repairs and upgradesAnalyze department performance metrics and implement process improvementsAddress patient concerns and work to enhance overall patient satisfactionAssist in the evaluation and implementation of new imaging technologiesWhat We Are Looking For:Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Healthcare Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferredCurrent certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT)Minimum of 5 years of experience in radiology, with at least 3 years in a supervisory roleStrong leadership and team management skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesAnalytical thinking and problem-solving capabilitiesCommitment to quality patient care and safetyPreferred Qualifications:Advanced certification in one or more imaging modalities (e.g., CT, MRI, Mammography)Experience with PACS, RIS, and other relevant healthcare IT systemsStrong understanding of healthcare operations and reimbursement modelsDemonstrated track record of implementing quality improvement initiativesExperience in academic or research-oriented healthcare settingsWhat We Offer:Competitive salary range: $110,000 - $140,000 annually, commensurate with experiencePerformance-based bonuses:Annual bonus based on department performance metricsAdditional bonuses for implementing cost-saving or efficiency-improving initiativesComprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insuranceGenerous paid time off and continuing education allowanceOpportunity to grow professionally and advance your career in a leading healthcare institutionPerformance Metrics:Department efficiency and throughputPatient satisfaction scoresQuality of care indicators and error ratesStaff retention and satisfactionBudget management and resource utilizationImplementation of new technologies and practicesCollaboration with other departments and contribution to overall hospital performanceIf you are a skilled Radiology Manager with a passion for advancing healthcare through efficient imaging practices, we want to hear from you.
