Equity Sales Trader

Our client is seeking an experienced Equity Sales Trader to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of the equity markets, with a proven track record in sales trading. Candidates must possess a portable book of business, bringing with them established client relationships to drive immediate revenue growth.Key Responsibilities :Execute equity trades for institutional clients while maintaining compliance with market regulations.Cultivate and expand relationships with existing clients, including hedge funds, asset managers, and family offices.Develop new business through lead generation, leveraging your existing network and market knowledge.Provide clients with timely market commentary, insights, and trade ideas.Work collaboratively with research analysts, corporate access, and other team members to maximize client engagement.Deliver a high level of client service, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty through regular communication and tailored solutions.Qualifications :Minimum of 7 years of equity sales trading experience, preferably within a boutique or mid-sized firm.A portable book of institutional business is required.Deep understanding of U.S. equities, market trends, and regulatory compliance.Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.Strong communication and negotiation skills.Preferred Skills :Experience in trading for hedge funds and other institutional investors.Entrepreneurial mindset with a drive for business development.
