Mason Family Pet Hospital , you'll keep doing what you love - practicing veterinary medicine and seeing the furry faces that make your day. In this role, you will provide vital medical leadership, oversee the veterinary team, ensure compliance standards are met, and cultivate an environment where exceptional pet care thrives. You'll develop medical protocols, mentor colleagues, and collaborate with the practice manager on finances, budgeting, and operational optimization. Approximately 5-10% of your time will be focused on administrative functions, meaning most of your time is spent doing what you know and love – caring for pets!Skills and Basic Qualifications:A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or related degree from an accredited universityLicensure in good standing to practice in the state in which the applicant is to be employed5+ years of experience as an associate veterinarianCommitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethicsSkillful ability to delegate, develop, and inspire a winning teamOur Doctors Enjoy:Sign-on bonus optionsHealth, dental, vision, ancillary coverage, and 401k matchingPaid time off and sick timeFlexible scheduling optionsAlternating Saturday shifts and no emergency dutyAnnual allowances for continuing education, dues/memberships, and new equipmentJoint venture partnership opportunitiesCompensation:$130k-$150k base salaryThis position is eligible for production-based bonuses
