The Assistant Vice President of Revenue Cycle Operations is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the revenue cycle process, including overseeing, billing, coding, claims processing, accounts receivable management, collections, and revenue optimization efforts, while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.Roles and Responsibilities:

Create and execute short-term and long-term revenue cycle goals and objectives.Leads and develops policies, procedures, controls and guidance of the Revenue Cycle Team ensuring compliance with state and federal laws and company standards.Identifies and makes recommendations for organizational changes required as the result of interpreting new legislation and regulatory requirements.Assimilates new facilities with company systems and policies including accounts receivable billing system implementation and training.Partners with the GL accounting team to ensure that the month-end close and revenue capture is accurate and timely.Provides leadership to ensure new hire training is developed and completed.Monitors KPIs, reporting, aging, and company goals to identify needs for process improvement and developing team priorities.Partner with other departments in developing reporting and KPIs.Oversee claims submission and processing to minimize denials and optimize reimbursement.Responsible for controlling costs and adhering to departmental budgets.Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.Ensure accurate and compliant billing and coding practices to prevent revenue loss and regulatory issues.Prepare and present regular financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.Evaluate and select revenue cycle software, tools, and vendors and implementation of any new revenue cycle applications.Stay informed about changes in healthcare reimbursement policies and adapt processes accordingly.All other duties as assigned.Licenses and Certifications:

CPA or MBA preferred7+ years of Healthcare Experience Required, Pharmacy Revenue Cycle Experience preferred.Physical Requirements:

Sitting, standing, bending, reaching, stretching, stooping, walking, and moving intermittently during working hours. Must be able to lift at least 50lbs. Must be able to maintain verbal and written communication with co-workers, supervisors, residents, family members, visitors, vendors, and all business associates outside of the health campus.
