Job Title: Salesforce CPQ Administrator (Part-time, Contract)

About the Role:

Join the scaleMatters team as a Salesforce CPQ Administrator as a part-time contractor, where you'll play a vital role in driving global business success. Reporting to the VP, RevOps Technology Services, you'll initially focus on supporting a key client's Salesforce CPQ needs. As you excel, your responsibilities may expand to include supporting additional clients within our portfolio.

In this hands-on position, you'll be responsible for maintaining and enhancing CPQ setups, while spearheading initiatives like multi-language and multi-currency implementations. Your deep technical expertise in Salesforce CPQ will be instrumental in delivering impactful solutions that meet our clients' global operational needs.

As part of scaleMatters, you'll collaborate with talented colleagues and contribute to fully integrated solutions that support operational success across multiple clients. With a strong focus on execution, you'll lead technical initiatives and provide guidance throughout the project lifecycle. We empower our contractors to expand their impact and take on new challenges that drive real business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

CPQ Ownership: Take full ownership of Salesforce CPQ enhancements and ongoing support, ensuring scalability and system performance.

Global CPQ Administration: Lead the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of Salesforce CPQ across all regions, ensuring smooth operation in a global, multi-currency, and multi-language environment.

Requirements Gathering: Document business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Hands-on Development: Perform hands-on solution design, prototyping, and proof-of-concept for CPQ enhancements, including product configuration, complex pricing and product rules, and standard quote templates.

Best Practices & Execution: Apply CPQ best practices tailored to business needs, with a strong focus on delivering results.

Integrations: Lead technical design and validation of integrations, including Salesforce CPQ integration with NetSuite and other 3rd party applications.

System Support: Provide day-to-day Salesforce platform and user support, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing workflows.

Qualifications:

Minimum 3+ years of Salesforce CPQ (Steelbrick) experience with a strong background in hands-on experience in product setup, product rules, price rules, discounting, and quote templates.

Experience supporting global, multi-currency CPQ implementations with multi-language support.

Salesforce CPQ Specialist certification preferred; Salesforce Sales Cloud certification is a plus.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and across different time zones.

Demonstrated leadership in managing the full project lifecycle, from requirements gathering to implementation and support.

Strong problem-solving abilities with a passion for continuous learning and applying new technologies.

Hourly rate and estimated hours/week:

Compensation for this role is $60 - 85/hour commensurate with candidate experience. This is a part-time, contract position that will require approximately ten (10) hours of week per work, and is a 12 - 18 month engagement working with a designated scaleMatters client.
