Ideal candidate will have project management skills, business analysis experience, analytical skills, good communication skills, good technical skills, problem solving skills and attention to detail.SUMMARYThe primary purpose of the Senior Facilities Informatics Analyst position is to manage complex data analysis and reporting using Oracle Unifier, including designing queries, analyzing data, and ensuring compliance with analytic methodologies. This position leads integration design and development by creating business intelligence solutions, mapping data sources, and coordinating with teams to meet data warehousing requirements. The Sr Informatics Analyst provides production support by training users, maintaining applications and reports, resolving issues, and developing long-term corrective measures in collaboration with relevant teams.JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIESComplex Data Analysis

- Reviews and evaluates Oracle Unifier data requirements for decision support purposes. Performs problem-solving formulation and testing of hypotheses and complex analysis of data. Designs simple to complex queries/Workflows using a structured query language, ensures analytic methodologies are followed, and makes recommendations where necessary. Determines whether integration effort can be performed within the reporting deliverable or requires additional business intelligence integration efforts. Provides a historical record of data and changes made to the system, made easily accessible. Promotes institutional, FPDC, and FMBS Project Accounting data management strategies.Integration Design & Development

- Participates in reviewing Unifier business processes and design requirements to develop programming specifications that meet operational/data warehousing requirements. Provides problem-solving expertise and complex analysis of Unifier data to develop business intelligence integration designs. Develops business intelligence solutions in accordance with departmental and institutional guidelines or methodologies to integrate data for reporting/analytical environments. Development tasks include feasibility, design, programming, testing, documentation, and implementation. The development efforts will also include mapping data sources to dimensional or reporting models, developing the necessary reporting/analytical models and data views, as well as the necessary scheduling efforts to ensure the processes are in proper sequence. Business intelligence integration solutions include coordinating activities between customers and/or Information System teams/departments.Production Support

- Provides training support and maintenance of Unifier data applications and reports. Triages and provides immediate support to the user community and coordinates full resolution and documentation providing 2nd level support of focused data applications and reporting platforms with responsibility 100% of the time. Develop long-term corrective measures and communicate them to the FPDC Project Contract and Controls and FMBS Project Accounting teams for evaluation approval and implementation.Other duties as assigned.Bachelor's degree in related field. Six years of related business, finance or project/process management experience to include three years in a health care setting.
