Job Description
We are seeking a Project Analyst with a Secret Clearance!As a Project Analyst, you will:Work closely with both technical teams and business stakeholders to design systems and processes that improve efficiency, drive innovation, and support business strategies.Receive a robust benefits package that includes our Employee Stock Ownership Plan! (ESOP).Be a part of an empowered accountability culture where each employee-owner has a meaningful stake in the future success and growth of the company.A week in the life of a Project Analyst:Work under the direction and guidance of a Government contractor program's Business & Plans Team leader.Provide assistance for individual projects geared towards improving the capabilities provided to the Government (including DCaaS, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and others as added).Assist in managing the conduct of matrixed project teams as needed to ensure the effective implementation of the new capability.Ensure technical, cost, and schedule metrics are tracked for projects.Provide status of projects clearly and succinctly to project and program leadership.Provide inputs and updates to weekly and monthly status reports.Provide inputs for responding to Government data calls.Support Purchase Order processes for approved projects. Support resolution of issues with vendors.Work closely with project leads in all aspects of project management as required.Conduct daily interaction with the various project teams via phone, email, IM, SharePoint, MS Teams, and face-to-face.Job Requirements
U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret clearance.BS degree in IT, computer science, or MIS.Minimum 2 years of experience in IT projects, including at least 1 year working in project management disciplines.Ability to effectively interact with a virtual, matrixed project team that includes technical subject matter experts.Familiarity with ITIL service delivery framework.Proficiency with MS Office suite.PMI PMP Certification is not a requirement, but it is expected that this position will be working towards that goal within 24 months of hire.Security+ certification.Hands-on experience utilizing MS Project.Founded in 1975, AMERICAN SYSTEMS is one of the largest employee-owned companies in the United States. The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $105,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
