Accountant 3

Reporting to the Director of Accounting, prepares and maintains financial records and ensures that financial transactions are properly recorded. Ensures the accuracy of entries to general ledger accounts and reconciles subsidiary ledger accounts to the general ledger. Analyzes current costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses.Job Functions:Prepare and post assigned journal entriesResponsible for fixed asset accounting and CIP reportingProvide assistance to departmental supervisors in regard to expense variances, work as liaison to resolve accounting issuesRecord rent, CAM and income for various rental properties based on reporting from the third party property management companyReview, analyze and report activity for assigned general ledger accounts and prepare monthly account reconciliationsAssist FP&A team with the annual operational expense budgetCollaborate with finance team for a timely monthly closeAssist in preparation of audited financial statements and provide audit supportOther duties as assigned from time to timeMinimum Qualifications:Education:

Bachelor of Science in Accounting preferredExperience:

Minimum of 4 years accounting experience preferredLicensure and/or Certification:

Excellent customer service skills. Must be able to read, write, and communicate proficiently in English. Computer skills required. Ability to maintain confidential information. Strong numerical ability. Extremely organized with high attention to detail and accuracy.
