Are you an experienced Accountant with a proficiency in Quickbooks? If you are, then we are looking for you to help out with a leave for a contract Staff Accountant position for 6-8 weeks. Experience working in a manufacturing/distribution environment is preferred but not required. This person would need to have the ability to assimilate instructions and multi-task within aligned financial deadlines.

Post to QuickBooks the daily transactions (sales, expenses, payroll, journal entries)Perform monthly bank reconciliationsDownload multiple CSV reportsReconcile and analyze expense accounts and investigate variancesRun ad hoc reports as needed by Finance TeamUpload credit card transactions and check the expense categories to ensure accurate posting to the correct expense accountCreate purchase orders as needed in proprietary ERP systemCommunicate with vendors and company staff regarding vendor issuesAssist in performing and processing monthly inventory cycle countsSkills
