Chantilly, VA, or Colorado Springs,COJob Description:L3Harris Technologies is looking for self-starting, team-oriented Full-Stack Application Software Engineers, to join a dynamic, multidisciplinary team working on large-scale enterprise application systems for Space Domain purposes using web technologies, distributed computation, as well as sophisticated, cloud technologies, frameworks, and cutting-edge domain analytics. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be part of software development and integration team focused on mission-unique software to be developed and integrated with existing and new cutting-edge capabilities.Essential Functions:The Software engineer will perform the development and integration via industry best practices, including Agile methodologies for the government system.The Software Engineer will provide mission application and framework development support.The Software Engineer participates in a development team that uses modern DevSecOps software practices and a technology-supported development infrastructure.The Senior Software Engineer will help maintain and develop new capabilities to the deployed system, diagnose and resolve issues, and provide support to end-users as needed.The ideal candidate will have the technical talent and desire to continuously learn new skills and technologies.Utilize Agile Software Development Processes and Methodologies (SAFe, Scrum, or Kanban)Qualifications:TS/SCI with consent to CI PolyBachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline and minimum 4years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.Experience with Java,JEE object oriented programmingExperience with the JavaScript Vue.js frameworkExperience with MicroservicesAgile Software Development Process and Methodologies (SaFe, Scrum, or Kanban)Preferred Qualifications:Experience with Spring Boot frameworkExperience with C++ and/or Python programming languagesExperience with PostgreSQL or similar Relational Database Management System (RDBMS)Experience with containerization technologies: Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShiftExperience with cloud technologies such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or GovCloudExperience with Front-End web development, TypeScript, CSS, SCSS, or HTMLExperience with unit testingExperience with integration and development tools, including AWS, Docker, Bitbucket, and JenkinsKnowledge of REST APIsIn compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado and New York State is$78,000 - $145,00 and Virginia area is $90,000 - $167,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
