This role ensures accurate and compliant financial reporting, implements efficient accounting processes, and provides strategic financial insights to support business objectives.Key responsibilities include:Ensuring the accuracy of financial reports.Developing efficient accounting processes.Providing recommendations.Fostering a culture of excellence and collaborating with various departments to enhance financial performance and mitigate risks.Required Skills and Competencies:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field or equivalent experience.Loan Commitment and PPE Experience Required.Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting, with a focus on derivatives and/or the secondary mortgage market.Knowledge of relevant accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, ASC 815, ASC 860) and regulatory requirements.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in accounting software and financial modeling tools.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
