Material Handling Equipment (MHE) Solution Design:Lead the conceptualization, design, and development of material handling automation and logistics solutions. Utilize expertise in mechanical engineering to create detailed layouts, flow diagrams, technical and functional specifications.Coordination with E&I and PLC Departments:Collaborate closely with the Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) departments to ensure seamless integration of MHE solutions. Provide technical guidance and support to E&I and PLC teams during the design and implementation phases.Request for Quotation (RFQ) and Contractor Management:Prepare comprehensive RFQ documents for material handling projects. Assist in the contractor selection process and actively monitor contractor performance on technical aspects. Ensure that contractors adhere to project specifications and timelines.Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT):Execute relevant Factory Acceptance Tests for mechanical engineering to ensure the quality and functionality of MHE solutions. Document and report on test results, making recommendations for improvements if necessary.Compliance with Safety and Ergonomics Norms:Ensure that all MHE designs comply with local safety and norms. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to address safety considerations in the design process.Coordination with Statutory Departments and Consultants:Liaise with statutory departments and consultants for mechanical and MEP (Sprinkler) design and installation. Ensure compliance with local regulations and standards in the mechanical and sprinkler system designs.Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.Proven experience (5 years) in designing material handling automation solutions, with a focus on logistics and efficiency.Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant design tools.In-depth knowledge of E&I, PLC systems, and mechanical engineering principles.Experience in preparing RFQ documents and managing contractors.Ability to execute Factory Acceptance Tests and interpret test results.Familiarity with safety and CE standards in material handling design.Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective cross-departmental coordination.Experience in coordinating with statutory departments.Are you up for the job?
