Senior Chemist responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :Perform routine and special analyses, utilizing LC / LCMS and other related lab equipmentProvide support to method development and validation of methods utilizing LC / LCMS and other related lab equipmentRead, understand, and interpret diverse analytical procedures presented in a variety of written stylesPerform instrument calibration and instrument troubleshootingReview and verify data, compile data packagesRecognize errors, identify root causes, recommend process improvementsRevise or write SOP’s as neededWork independently and efficientlyDocument work clearly and perform tests accuratelyCommunicate effectively with client staff membersQualifications

The ideal candidate would possess :Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, or other related degree concentration, or equivalent directly related experience (2 years of directly related industry experience is equivalent to 1 full-time year of college in related major)4 years LCMS and 2 years LC experienceStrong Liquid chromatography and mass spectroscopy experience.Experience in a cGMP and/or ISO 17025 environmentStrong computer, scientific, and organizational skillsExcellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitudeAbility to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policiesAdditional Information

Position is full-time, Mon-Fri, 8 am-5:00 pm overtime as needed.
