The main responsibility of this position is to perform in-process analytical bioassay sample testing to support both early and late-stage protein, cell and gene therapy programs.Support method and critical reagent qualificationsUtilize laboratory techniques such as mammalian cell culture and routine analytical procedures such as ELISAs, PCR, cell-based assays, and flow cytometryResponsible for data integrity and accuracy, and document all analytical testing in an electronic laboratory notebookQualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or Biochemistry, or other related degree concentration with 3 years industry experience (preferred), OR Relevant Masters with 1 year industry experience, OR PhDExperience with:
Pipetting (single and multi-channel pipettes)Flow CytometryAseptic TechniqueCell CultureqPCR and/or dPCRELISA / Immunoassay
Strong computer and organizational skillsExcellent communication (oral and written)Ability to work independently and as part of a teamSelf-motivated, adaptable, and a can-do attitudeAbility to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneouslyAccurate record keeping, experience with electronic notebooks preferredFollow instructions, and comply with company policiesExperience working in BSL2 labsExperience with GMP procedures preferredAuthorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorshipFlexibility to travel between Malvern and Spring House 10% of the timeAdditional Information
Position is full-time, Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00 pm with overtime as needed.
