Four Paws Animal Clinic is a fast-paced, growing, 6-doctor, small animal, general vet practice in Columbia, SC. We offer personalized, patient-centered, progressive medicine, surgery, dentistry, rehabilitation, and nutrition in our 4800sf stand-alone building.

Provide your best care as a Thrive Pet Healthcare Veterinarian

Four Paws Animal Clinic is looking for an Associate Veterinarian to join us as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community.

Experience & Skills Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree required

State Veterinary Board License and must be in good standing for the state in which they intend to be hired, prior to their start date.

Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligible.

Job Requirements (Medical Director):

A strong leader who wants to build a great medical team.

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine or equivalent from accredited university with license to practice in the state of hospital location.

Maintain DEA registration as required by the Controlled Substances Act.

Should have a minimum of 3 years of practice experience.

Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, strong written and oral communication skills. Must possess sound medical reasoning skills and strong medical ethics.
