Perioperative Services Nurse Director

A critical access hospital in Colorado is actively seeking a strong surgical services nurse leader to join their team! The experienced RN Director Perioperative Services will be a welcomed addition to this hospital organization.Situated in the heart of Southeast Colorado, this 25-bed Critical Access Hospital offers residents a broad range of services, including acute inpatient hospital care, birthing services, cardiovascular care, and primary care. This hospital has achieved awards for excellence in patient care and is fully accredited by the DNV.Reporting directly to the Chief Nurse Executive, the Perioperative Services Nursing Director will be responsible for this fast-paced department. Managing the perioperative team across 3+ ORs, the Nurse Director Perioperative Services will provide strong administrative leadership to OR staff, serving as a liaison between nursing staff, patients, and their families, as well as motivating staff and promoting an attitude of excellence in all areas. This role will include implementation of recruitment and retention strategies for OR services, overseeing departmental budgeting, identifying opportunities for quality and performance improvement, in addition to other administrative duties as assigned.The RN Director Perioperative Services will be offered a competitive salary, full suite of employee benefits, in addition to relocation assistance as required.
