Registered Veterinary Technician
to join our team! The ideal candidate will be a dependable, detail-oriented team player who loves pets and being part of a fun, supportive team. They will have experience rooming patients, surgical assisting experience, knowledge of equipment used, drawing blood, running bloodwork, knowledge of x-rays and proper positioning, experience with proper animal handling and restraint, understanding the importance of client education, and being a positive and motivating team member.Benefits We OfferYour well-being matters to us.

Registered Veterinary Technician , license must be current2+ years of veterinary experienceKnowledge of industry tools and equipmentPassion for working with animals and their ownersExperience with proper animal handling and restraintObtaining accurate and thorough medical historiesTPRAssisting doctor and other technical staff with restraintBlood draws (cephalic, saphenous, and jugular)Placing IV cathetersDigital radiology including positioningDentistry (digital x-rays, scaling, polishing)Anesthesia (induction, intubation, monitoring, aseptic technique)Laboratory skills such as ear and fecal cytology; HM5; Vetscan; SedivueExcellent client communication/educationAt AmeriVet, your well-being, your loved ones, and your future are our top priorities.
