Registered Veterinary Technician

to join our team! The ideal candidate will be a dependable, detail-oriented team player who loves pets and being part of a fun, supportive team. They will have experience rooming patients, surgical assisting experience and knowledge of equipment used, drawing blood and running bloodwork, knowledge of x-rays and proper positioning, experience with proper animal handling and restraint, understanding the importance of client education, and being a positive and motivating team member.Benefits We OfferYour well-being matters to us.

2+ years of veterinary experience (preferred)Knowledge of industry tools and equipmentPassion for working with animals and their ownersExperience with proper animal handling and restraintObtaining accurate and thorough medical historiesBlood draws (cephalic, saphenous, and jugular)Placing IV cathetersDigital radiology including positioning.Dentistry (digital x-rays, scaling, polishing)Anesthesia (induction, intubation, monitoring, aseptic technique)Laboratory skills such as ear and fecal cytology; HM5; Vetscan; SedivueExcellent client communication/educationAt AmeriVet, your well-being, your loved ones, and your future are our top priorities.
