Description
This position is for a Peds Acute Care NP with pediatric nephrology to assist children experiencing kidney disease. This position will see patients in the acute care setting as well as the outpatient clinic setting.Salary range: $84.82 - $121.13/hourly. NP1: $76.51/hourly.*This is one APP position that will be filled as PA or NP.Qualifications
Successful completion of a Master's Degree or higher in an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with a specialty in
Pediatrics, Acute Care -
RequiredCA NP, NPF, and RN license - RequiredDEA License with Schedule II - RequiredNational Certification in Nurse Practitioner Specialty as an Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner - RequiredBLS from American Heart Association or American Red Cross - RequiredPALS from American Heart Association - RequiredOne year of pediatric nephrology experience strongly preferred.Will consider new grad NPs with a minimum of 2 years of pediatric ICU experience.NP1 (less than 6 months NP experience): $76.51/hourlyAbility to utilize Excel, Word, and other software programs - RequiredAbility to establish and maintain cooperative and collaborative working relationships with administrative, clinical, and academic personnel - RequiredSkill in working independently and following through with minimum direction - RequiredAbility to set priorities - RequiredDemonstrate writing skills to compose logical, detailed, and grammatically correct correspondence - RequiredDocument patient care in a concise and comprehensive manner - Required
