Houston, TX OR Atlanta, GASummaryThe Portfolio Manager III for Linscomb Wealth collaborates with the Investment Team, Trading Team, and our Wealth Advisor Team to manage client investment portfolios. Principle duties include maintaining investment models, rebalancing portfolios, leading project level reviews, and participating in the firm's Investment Committee. The responsibilities include managing our portfolio management software system, identifying, and initiating rebalancing for new accounts and those that have drifted outside of the parameters set by the Investment Committee, and providing guidance and working with wealth advisors to migrate client portfolios closer to firm models. In addition, this individual will actively participate in the communication of investment strategies and/or changes to positions and strategies to clients in conjunction with the wealth advisors.Client ResponsibilitiesThis role meets with clients on a periodic basis or as requested by the wealth advisor.Team ResponsibilitiesMaintain investment models within firm's trading application.Is responsible for executing portfolio changes.Respond to or research trade related inquiries and make decisions for appropriate disposition.Monitor asset class deviations and provide recommendations to Wealth Advisors to rebalance portfolios that are out of tolerance.Responsible for phasing cash into investment portfolios.Monitor security master within the trading/rebalancing system.Responsible for developing and initiating transition strategies for accounts that are not in line with current models.Participation in Investment Committee and other working groups.Participates in equity and investment research.Generate and distribute internal management reports, as needed.Firm ResponsibilitiesUnderstand and support the firm's vision, mission, and strategy.Engage in teamwork and teambuilding and integrate into the culture of the firm.Stay apprised of Linscomb Wealth firm policies, industry best practices, and is constantly evaluating technologies to enhance our capabilities.Complies with all Firm's HR and Compliance policies.Degrees and DesignationsBachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university, preferably with a finance degree.No certificates or licenses required, but CFA, CFP, or CIMA is desired.Experience RequirementPreferably seven to ten years related experience in portfolio management; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Proficient with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, PP).Ideally, experience with Tamarac Reporting, Trading and CRM, Charles Schwab and Fidelity custodial platforms or other similar systems.Experience with a CRM Database, Document Management software or other Financial Industry software is a plus.Very strong Excel skills are desired.Skills RequiredProactive and strong work ethic.Excellent organizational skills.Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines.Professional appearance and demeanor.Ability to work well in a team environment.Strong communication skills - verbal & written.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesFuture supervisory responsibilities are available for this position.EducationBachelors (required)Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
