Our client, a consulting firm, has an IT Audit need on an issue validation project they’re working on for their client who is a large global bank. They need a solid technology auditor with experience in control testing and issue validation. The resource is tied to an increase in issue management work in technology. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating and improving our IT control systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Control Testing:
Conduct thorough assessments of IT controls to ensure they are functioning as intended and meet compliance standards.
Issue Validation:
Identify, document, and validate IT-related issues, working with stakeholders to ensure timely resolution.
IT General Controls (ITGC):
Evaluate and test ITGCs to ensure they are effective and align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CISA, CISSP) are preferred.
Proven experience in IT auditing, including control testing and issue validation.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
