Job Description:
Our client a consulting firm who has an IT Audit need on an issue validation project they’re working on for their client who is a large global bank.
They need a solid technology auditor experience in control testing and issue validation. The resource is tied to an increase in issue management work in technology.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating and improving our IT control systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Cybersecurity Testing:
Perform detailed assessments of cybersecurity controls, including data center security, Active Directory, privileged access management, CI/CD pipelines, and firewall configurations. Ensure these controls meet organizational and industry standards.
Issue Validation:
Identify, document, and validate cybersecurity-related issues. Collaborate with IT teams to address and resolve vulnerabilities and non-compliance.
General IT Audit (ITGCs):
Conduct IT general controls (ITGC) audits to ensure that IT processes and systems adhere to regulatory requirements and best practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CISA, CISSP, CISM) are highly desirable.
Hands-on experience with data center controls, Active Directory, privileged access, CI/CD pipelines, firewall configurations, and broader cybersecurity practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
