Your Role
You will play a crucial role in shaping the company’s financial strategy and operations. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will oversee a range of financial functions and support the company’s growth in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development of annual operating plans, including staffing, facilities, and capital expenditures.
Oversee the financial planning and analysis function, providing strategic insights and recommendations to the executive team.
Build and manage revenue and cash flow models, ensuring alignment with global strategic goals.
Regularly forecast cash needs and risks, developing strategies to address them.
Update the company’s strategic plan to support business growth and serve as a guide for expansion.
Identify and mitigate financial risks, including credit, market, and operational risks.
Support business and opportunity development through financial leadership and monthly reviews.
Implement best practices and systems to support continued growth, including financial information systems.
Oversee accounting operations, including fiscal reporting activities such as profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
What We’re Looking For
Experience: 15+ years in financial leadership, preferably within private capital-backed companies or newly public enterprises.
Industry Knowledge: Experience in cleantech or adjacent energy markets is desirable.
Leadership: Proven track record of building financial infrastructure in high-growth or start-up environments, with a hands-on approach to implementing systems and processes.
Global Experience: Experience managing or establishing overseas branches is a plus.
Process Improvement: Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and manage FP&A functions in dynamic settings.
Emotional Intelligence: Strong leadership skills with the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams.
Organizational Skills: Excellent project management skills, with a disciplined approach to work and time management.
Strategic Vision: Ability to articulate strategy, align people and processes, and drive execution to achieve results.
Entrepreneurial Spirit: Results-oriented and resourceful, with a knack for enhancing business operations quickly.
Investor Relations: Experience with investor relations is desirable.
