The Software and Electrical Test Engineer is responsible for assisting the test group and engineering development teams in evaluating and testing individual components, sub-systems, and products to determine and improve performance or reliability. The incumbent has a working knowledge of all areas of electronics design and embedded software, with enough depth to be able to specify, critique, and validate them.Responsibilities

Collaborate with hardware, quality team and software developers to define requirements and acceptance criteria for their features.Analyze application specification and design documents to determine test scenarios.Define and execute test cases, manage defects through resolution.Define, capture, and report test execution status metrics including test cases completed, defects identified and fixed, defects by type, and time to resolution.Establish and manage integration system test environments, including basic system administration tasks and basic network configuration.Establish techniques for automated application testing in an integration environment.Plan, develop, and test components, equipment, and systems to ensure they are safe, dependable, and meet regulatory requirements.Applies lean engineering principles and DFM concepts in product validation process.Develop test plans and perform testing at component and system level.Effectively and objectively communicates information to leadership, staff, customers, and suppliers.Actively pursues continuous improvement and ease of doing business to create value for the customer and business.Demonstrated knowledge of engineering analysis, processes, testing tools, and technical documentation standards.Up to 10% travel to meet with customers, fitness clubs and studios to see the product and usage in the field.Individuals may be required to sit, stand, walk regularly and occasionally pick up to 40 pounds.Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s Science degree in Computer Science or Power Electronics or equivalent.2-5 years hands-on software and hardware test experience with strong, demonstrable, technical skills.Working knowledge of all areas of electronics design and embedded software, with enough depth to be able to specify, critique, and validate.Proficient in the use of various measurement devices including oscilloscopes, network analyzers, and power analyzers.Enthusiasm to dig into technical specifications and to troubleshoot problems.Ability to effectively plan, organize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.Ability to manage simultaneous tasks in an environment that can be demanding.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Preferred Qualifications

Master’s Degree.Experience with Android based display system.Experience in testing digital display systems, motors and motor controllers, power supplies, and electromagnetics.Working Knowledge of Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC (Near Field Communication) & EMI.Radiated and conducted immunity in terms of FCC and CE regulatory requirements.Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resources allocation and project management.Knowledge of Jira, Confluence & Power BI is a plus.Knowledge of UL 1647, IEC 60335 is a plus.Pay Range: $77,100 to $90,000The pay range represents the low and high end of the anticipated pay range for this position based at our Woodinville, WA headquarters.
