Start making an IMPACT!The Role: Senior Technical SupportWe are looking for an experienced and licensed engineer who can read and analyze electrical specifications and wiring diagrams, provide applications engineering support to all customers and stakeholders.What will you do?Provide general technical support for customers, particularly regarding technical information on products, prices, discounts, and application information during the pre-sales & after-sales process.Evaluate product and create bill of materials based on job requirements. Responsible for pricing review of quotation opportunities from Sales team.Perform medium to high complexity applications support for all ASCO products: Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS), critical power and packaged power products, Industrial Control Products (ICP), Load banks, Communication products, and Power Control Systems.Answer technical emails or chat inquiries from customers using technical related documents for references to all ASCO owner’s manual, technical bulletins, drawings, & other internal tools.Help build Frequently Asked Questions and Competitor Analysis documents for all products every quarter.Provide support to Canada, US, and non-US based customers.Handle responsibilities with minimal supervision and improve relationships with all customers (Internal/External) by providing prompt, courteous responses to inquiries.

QualificationsWho would be successful?Licensed Electrical Engineer, but Electronics & Communications majors are welcome if they have sound knowledge and experience in electrical engineering applications.Experience in electrical engineering or related fields, with work exposure to Emergency and Back-up Systems and in analyzing and reviewing electrical diagrams/specifications.Familiarity with standards from National Electrical Code (NEC), Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), and American National Standards Institute (ANSI).Proficient communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.Strong time management skills.Electrical Technical Orientation, team player, positive attitude, intellectually curious with a passion to learn.What’s in it for me?Global family leave.Comprehensive medical coverage for employee and dependents.Worldwide Employee Stock Ownership.Rice subsidy.Why us?Schneider Electric is leading the digital transformation of energy management and automation.
