We are seeking a Senior Revenue Accountant to join our growing team. In this role, you will primarily work on accounting for direct and indirect customer revenue recognition for sales across each of the company's offerings.

What you’ll be doing (Key Responsibilities):

Financial Reporting Month-End Close

Compile and analyze financial information to prepare journal entries, and document business processes

Analyze monthly revenue by stream to ensure completeness and accuracy of revenue

Perform reconciliations for unbilled accruals, deferred revenue, and accounts receivable

Reporting Operations

Review contracts for proper revenue recognition in line with ASC 606

Assist with preparing revenue reporting package, including revenue-related flux comments, revenue deep dive, and revenue-related disclosures

Build processes and procedures to account for revenue and contra-revenue in accordance with ASC 606

Support decision making and resolution of revenue-related accounting issues.

Other Responsibilities

Collaborate with various teams to provide guidance on the impact of contractual arrangements and business decisions to ensure data readiness for month-end accounting

Assist with annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes

Support system upgrades and implementations

Assist on cross-functional projects as needed

Exceptional documentation skills with the ability to be clear and concise

Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks concurrently

Intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Requirements:

BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent

2+ years total accounting experience

Knowledge of ASC 606 and internal control best practices
