Accounts Payable Associate

Onsite location in Northeast Minneapolis

Full-time position - Monday through Friday

Hybrid work arrangement: 3 days onsite in the office/2 days at home after 90 days of employment

Pay: $55,000 - $60,000

Level 10 Management has an opportunity for an Accounts Payable Associate to join our growing property management team. The Accounts Payable Associate is responsible for day-to-day accounts payable accounting operations. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Collects, reviews, verifies, and distributes the organization's various business transactions to appropriate personnel, department and/or division to process and post all transaction details into the correct accounts, ledgers, spreadsheets, and/or databases.

Audits invoices against purchase orders and investigates all discrepancies.

Reviews and reconciles the general ledger accounts with various registers.

Reviews, reconciles, corrects, and interprets all report discrepancies.

Codes all financial data for entry into the processing system.

Assists employees, vendors, clients, or customers by answering questions related to accounts, procedures, and services.

Reviews and approves invoices for payment.

Maintains current W-9 and COI forms from all vendors and process annual 1099 filing.

Prepares all accounts payable files, reports, and monthly closings.

Processes and prepares accounts payable analyses as required.

Researches and negotiates vendor payment terms.

Resolves accounts payable inquiries.

Calls and/or mails correspondence to vendors as necessary in order to update and maintain current accounts.

Assist with preparing and reviewing monthly close for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.

Maintain general ledger and journal integrity and balance sheet reconstructions.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

Associates degree in Accounting or related field

3-5 years of full time work experience in accounting

High level of detail orientation

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written

Excellent organizational and prioritization skills with a keen sense of urgency, work well under pressure, and consistently meet deadlines

Advanced Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel

Knowledge of AppFolio software highly desirable but not required
