The Team

The Role
We are seeking a skilled FinOps AWS Cloud Engineer to join our team. This role is crucial for optimizing cloud financial management, ensuring cost efficiency, and enhancing the scalability of our cloud infrastructure. You will be responsible for implementing cloud cost management tools, analyzing usage patterns, and recommending strategies to reduce expenses while aligning with business objectives. You'll play a key role in automating processes, collaborating on scalable cloud architecture, and ensuring that our cloud infrastructure meets financial and operational goals.
What You'll Bring
3+ years of experience in cloud engineering, with a focus on AWS.Proven experience in FinOps or cloud financial management roles.Strong understanding of AWS services and cloud cost optimization techniques.Proficiency in cloud cost management tools (e.g., AWS Cost Explorer, AWS Budgets, CloudHealth, CloudCheckr).Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform.Strong scripting skills (Ansible, Python) for automation purposes.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.AWS Certified Solutions Architect or related certifications are preferred.FinOps Certified Practitioner is a plus.Championing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
